DIY Cardboard Construction Paper Flower Pots
Our kids are two and v years old and so I did more of the construction paper cutting and hot gluing, peculiarly for our toddler, only the girls loved decorating their flowers using crayons and sparkly gem stickers and we're already planning to make watercolor flowers next by painting white carte du jour stock paper flowers with watercolor pigment.
To brand our own cardboard blossom pots, we were able to find everything nosotros needed right at habitation. We used things like colored construction paper, cardboard (from a paper-thin box), popsicle sticks, a hot glue gun and hot glue sticks, and stickers and crayons to decorate our flowers.
If you lot don't have a hot gum gun, craft glue will work as well, just be sure to press and seal the brown structure paper to the cardboard or card stock well and allow it to dry out completely.
If you program on crafting a lot with your kids, this little mucilage gun is THE BEST. I've had mine (in pink) for years and years and years and it just keeps on chugging.
If y'all don't accept popsicle sticks, glue your construction paper flowers to the back of plastic spoons or plastic butter knives or collect thin sticks from outside and make more than natural looking bloom stems by gluing your construction newspaper flowers to sticks.

WHAT You'LL NEED
- colored construction paper
- cardboard or card stock
- popsicle sticks
- hot glue gun and hot glue sticks (craft gum will piece of work as well, just allow it to dry completely)

HOW TO Make CARDBOARD Construction Paper Blossom POTS
- You'll start past cutting a flower pot shape out of a slice of cardboard or card stock paper. I used a pencil to trace a "flower pot" shape and then cutting it out with pair of scissors. (It doesn't need to be perfect!)

- Optional: let your kids decorate their paper flowers using stickers, glitter, crayons, markers, etc.
- Once the paper flowers are set, put a dot of mucilage on the tip of a popsicle stick and affix your paper flower. Yous tin can too cutting out a small circle from a unlike color structure paper to gum to the center of your paper flower, making the center of each flower. Repeat this procedure for each blossom making several popsicle stick flowers.
- Once everything is dry out, let your kids arrange their popsicle stick flowers in their flower pots! Enjoy!

*Craft glue will work equally well, only be sure to printing and seal the brown structure paper to the cardboard or bill of fare stock well and permit it to dry out completely.
